Lutheran Youth Fellowship (LYF)

Lutheran Youth Fellowship (LYF) is open to any confirmed member of St. Paul’s who will be in grade 9 through grade 12.  No dues.  LYF meets on the 1st and 3rd Sunday at 7:00pm.  Meetings consist of Pastor led bible study followed by planning for fund raisers and social events.  Members take turns bringing snacks to meetings.  Annual activities include sacking the church’s Christmas nuts and candy, singing Christmas carols to the elderly and shut-ins and forming a human candle-lighted cross at Christmas Eve Service.  Various LYF fundraisers, such as car washes, suppers during Lent and Advent Seasons, Valentine’s dinner, selling items, etc., go toward such things as bowling, ski or canoe trips and attending major youth rallies.
