Lutheran Women’s Missionary League

The official women’s organization of The Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod. The LWML supports mission outreach and personal spiritual development. This is open to all women of the congregation. Meetings are at 7:30pm the 4th Tuesday of the month, September through May. Meetings are varied with Pastor led studies, devotions, entertainment, speakers or service projects, followed by a business meeting, snacks and fellowship. Meetings last approximately 1-2 hours. Devotions and snacks are provided by members. Mite boxes are used to collect money for missions. Anyone can contribute to the wooden Mite box located at the back of the church. Mite box donations are used to support national and district mission goals, 25% of donations are sent to the National LWML and 75% stays in our district, LWML Nebraska South District. Monthly in-gatherings are given to selected area missions.
